Able UK presents their Humber plans

Team Humber Marine Alliance invite you to attend a conference on 9th September, at Forest Pines Hotel, Brigg to learn about Able UK’s development plans and opportunities for Humber based companies within the Renewables Sector.

Offshore wind has the potential to provide sustained growth and opportunity for Humber based businesses over the next fifty years.  Numerous exciting partnerships and developments have been announced and regional businesses are already developing into the sector.   Grimsby is increasingly viewed as an East Coast operations & maintenance hub and the Humber marine cluster is seeing real growth in the sector.

Able UK have already made significant investments on the Humber but this is only the start. The next two phases of activity surround the combined Logistics and Business Park and the development of a Marine Energy Park – including the construction of c. 1,630m of new quays – to service the growing needs of the Renewable Energy Sector.

“We have the will, the resource and the passion to make this happen and to put the South Humber Bank at the heart of a new and exciting development. We have always taken a long term view and have retained a desire to maximise the impact of our projects in terms of both job and wealth creation. Equally we are committed to respecting the needs of all stakeholders and to ensure that we can be proud of a truly world-class, world scale and sustainable development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the region and for the UK as a whole and we look forward to working with you.”

Peter Stephenson, Executive Chairman, Able UK Limited
